All about my doll adventures. WHEEHEE.
As you've noticed, Davin is here (and faceup-less again because I couldn't stand his orange face anymore...) and now I am eagerly awaiting Maarit's (my MiniFee ShuShu, yes, I already named her) arrival.
I'm kind of starting to freak out though, because work has not been giving me very many hours...I work maybe like 11 hours a week now, compared to the 20 something I was getting during the holidays. I honestly don't get why I'm still there, I'm friendly and patient with customers

omggurl So I recently redesigned Xoret which involved digging through LOTS of old Kingdom Hearts 2 fan art which made me go hoomagawd, I should go say hi to deathembodied and see what's up.

Ahhhh hi! Haha I don't think you realize the internal scream I had when I saw the redesign! I never thought I'd see Xoret ever again, and he looks amazing in your style now (which I really dig btw!). Your art has really gotten amazing since I last talked to you : D I'm excited to see what you do with him! I really love his new do especially, the mohawk suits.
Its really fun adapting old beloved characters for new things, mostly because it's a real shame to watch them wither away in the back of your head--amusingly enough, Xaridan got revamped about 3 years ago, and I adapted him for modern day use as well. He's a wizard/magic user of sorts, but I'm still working out details as I haven't gone too in depth. Looks like we had the same idea, haha.
But yeah! Its been way too long since we last spoke--I still keep track of your art so it's been nice seeing what you've been up to, especially with your comic and all your new characters (and your job, belated congrats on that). Ahh I'm flattered you think I'm awesome, because you're pretty awesome yourself, hehe : )

<3 Aww thanks~ I was starting to think I'd never see him again either! First thing I had to do was get rid of that insane super-mullet pffft. I'm glad to hear you haven't let Xaridan die off either. I would definitely love to see Wizard!Xari~and to return the compliment, your paintings~ homagawd. Gurl. Now I feel bad I've pretty much abandoned dA over the years and barely check it...I should probably fix that...I've just turned into a tumblr creep as of..lately? The last year or so. hahaha.
I'm glad you rediscovered him! He looks amazing. Ahh and I just saw the doodles you did of him on tumblr and MY OVARIES. I forgot how much of a Xoret fangirl I was back in 2006 hahaha. The mullet looked great on him, but I like the mullethawk much better. It just seems to suit him better. Hell, I just love his new look overall.
Haha seeing your revamp just makes me want to draw Adrian all the more, so I think I'll do some sketchies and put them on tumblr as well
Aww thank you! I find it actually easier to paint than to lineart and color. I just feel like there's more freedom in it. I tried cel shading for awhile but after practicing painting in PS I just took a real liking to it and have since been gradually honing my painterly skills. Still have TONS I need to improve upon, anatomy and posing especially. I've done enough portraits and headshots to last a lifetime lmao. You're so talented yourself, its really cool to hear you like my stuff.
Nah, I'm the same way. Last thing I put on dA was last August right after I finished playing Oblivion. Since then I've been doing casual sketches and speedpaints and putting them on tumblr. The community over there seems more active. I WAS part of a few clubs on here for RP, but they've since died off so I'm not here much anymore. Bless tumblr though, I am obsessed.
